California Craft Brewers Association announces historic milestone and the return of the California Craft Beer Summit and Beer Festival for its third year
Sacramento, CA– Today, The California Craft Brewers Association (CCBA) announced more than 800 craft breweries are now in operation across the state. The industry reaches this historic milestone as CCBA announces its annual showcase of California’s booming craft beer industry, the California Craft Beer Summit and Beer Festival, returns to Sacramento for its third year.
The event brings owners and representatives from more than 200 breweries into the city to celebrate the growing craft beer community. The Summit takes place September 7-9, 2017 in Sacramento, California.
“California continues to lead the nation’s craft beer movement and the Summit showcases the wild success of a community united over a common passion: the art and science of brewing exceptional craft beer,” began Tom McCormick, executive director of the CCBA. “CCBA’s signature event is the ultimate opportunity for craft beer enthusiasts to join the tribe, learn from brewers and industry experts across the Golden State and taste the creativity and passion that serves as the foundation of the industry.”
