With a habit of diving head-first into a new hobby, Sterling starting brewing in his kitchen more than a decade ago. Interested in a broad spectrum of styles, it wasn’t long before he had a half dozen beers fermenting at any time. The LA native loved the idea of taking a passion and turning it into a business, and before long the mere concept of Trademark Brewing was born. On the rare occasion that Sterling isn’t working on something at the brewery, you can bet he’s trying to sneak away to climb a mountain, race a sailboat or ride a bike.
