Calif. Craft Beer at Gov’s Reception

In a nod to the craft brewers of California, Jerry Brown requested that only craft beer from California be served at the Inaugural Reception that was held following the swearing in ceremony on Monday in Sacramento.

This is a proud moment for our industry. We deserve recognition as a growing, thriving, valuable and premier industry in our great state.

We have much work to do in increasing the awareness and appreciation of the vast contribution our industry provides the state. But that journey is accomplished one small step at a time, and having the Governor acknowledge our industry in this way is a good step forward.
