CALIFORNIA BREWERS RECEIVE 61 MEDALS AT THE 2024 WORLD BEER CUP AWARDS
The Brewers Association announced the results of the largest international commercial beer competition, the 2024 World Beer Cup (WBC). The awards were presented in a ceremony on Wednesday, April 24 at the conclusion of the Craft Brewers Conference® & BrewExpo America® located at the Venetian Convention and Expo Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Often referred to as the “Olympics of Beer”, this competition had 9,300 entries from 2,060 breweries, representing 50 countries. Entries were evaluated by a panel of 280 judges from 37 countries.
47 California breweries took home an impressive haul of 61 total medals awarded, the most out of any other state. Two-Thirds of those breweries are CCBA members. You can find the full list of 2024 World Beer Cup award winners here.
