California’s Signature Craft Beer Event Brings More Breweries and More Beer to Sacramento
California Craft Beer Summit Beer Festival on September 8 offers a line-up of 500 craft beers brewed across the Golden State!
Today the 2018 California Craft Beer Summit released the beer list for the Summit Beer Festival on September 8, featuring beers from more than 170 California breweries. The Summit Beer Festival is the culminating event for a week of beer industry events and offers the largest collection of hand crafted, California-brewed beer ever served in one location.
“The Summit Beer Festival brings in beer lovers from across the nation,” said Tom McCormick, executive director of the California Craft Brewers Association. “This is the only event where you can taste 500 California craft beers that you would never be able to buy at a grocery store or find in a local bar. With hundreds of brewers in town for the full California Craft Beer Summit, the Summit Beer Festival offers everyone the chance to know who brews their beer.”
The Summit’s beer line-up is listed at www.cacraftbeersummit.com and includes special releases from breweries across the state. Proceeds from the event go to support the California Craft Brewers Association, the nonprofit trade association that ensures craft breweries continue to thrive across the state of California.
“This is the event to bring your best beers to,” said Chris Cramer, CEO & Co-Founder of Karl Strauss Brewing Co. and president of the CCBA Board of Directors. “Not only can you share your passion with thousands of beer lovers, you also have a unique opportunity to share ideas and innovation with fellow brewers from across the state. We always bring to the Summit one or two beers that we are particularly excited to share with our friends in the beer community.”
The Summit Beer Festival, on Saturday September 8 from 12 to 4, is arranged according to beer regions. Craft beer lovers can tour their way through the regions of beer across the Golden State, including Central California, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego and Northern California. The Summit Beer Festival will be outside on Capitol Mall and include food trucks, music and unlimited beer tastings.
Tickets are available for the Summit Beer Festival ($60). Visit www.cacraftbeersummit.com for more information and details.
