posted: 9/11/2024 The Executive Director is responsible for leading the California Craft Brewers Association (CCBA) in a manner that supports and guides the organization’s mission as defined by the Board of Directors and executing the vision and strategic plan developed in conjunction with the Board of Directors. The Executive Director is responsible for budgeting, fundraising, overseeing daily operations, membership development, and staffing the association to support the CCBA’s mission, vision, and goals. The Executive Director is also responsible for managing the CCBA government affairs program and working closely with our lobbyist and key stakeholders. The Executive Director represents the association in all activities, including, but not limited to, government affairs, member-stakeholder relations, and partner development. This individual reports directly to the Board of Directors and supervises staff. General responsibilities include board governance, overseeing association operations, managing financial performance, oversee membership engagement, monitor industry trend data, and supporting legislative priorities. Additionally, the Executive Director is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, such as the Legislature, the Governor’s Office, the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, other state departments, and key industry organizations, in collaboration with the association’s lobbyist.
