CCBA in your Neighborhood
Every year, the CCBA travels across California to visit members’ hometowns for Regional Meeting. CCBA’s Regional Meetings provide members with the opportunity to discuss what’s going on at the state Capitol, including current issues, legislative updates and new laws and regulations. It also provides an opportunity for attendees to ask questions, share feedback with the CCBA and talk about what’s going on in their region and what the association can do to support the local industry. With new breweries popping up all over the state, it’s a priority for the CCBA to bring compliance information and educational resources directly to its members!
This week, CCBA’s Managing Director, Leia Ostermann, traveled to Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo for two Regional Meetings on the Central Coast. Hosted by Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co. and Libertine Brewing Co., both meetings boasted a dozen or more attendees and in-depth discussions about the industry, regulatory issues, and what’s going on in the local marketplace.
Since the beginning of 2016, the CCBA has organized 13 regional meetings across the state including the North Coast, Bay Area, Sacramento, Fresno, Central Coast, Los Angeles, and San Diego. These meetings have been critical to support the work the association is doing on behalf of California craft breweries, collecting ideas, feedback and questions and continuing to support the industry statewide. Thank you to all hosts and attendees for being active in your association, staying in-tune with the industry and supporting each other. We are honored to serve you!
