GABF ~ CA Takes Home the Most Medals!

The Great American Beer Festival presented by the Brewers Association is the largest commercial beer competition in the world.

A record 5,507 beers were judged (16 percent more than in 2013) in 90 categories by 222 judges from 10 countries.

California was the top medal winner with 46 medals out of 268 medals awarded, followed by Colorado with 39 medals.

There were 49,000 attendees, 3,500 beers served, 1,309 breweries in the competition from 50 states plus Washington D.C.
