Sacramento Beer Week Kicks Off March 2!
Sacramento Beer Week kicks off this week with an 11-day line-up of craft beer focused events throughout the region. With over 70 breweries in the greater Sacramento area and thousands of craft beer lovers, this year’s Sacramento Beer Week is sure to be a success.
Sacramento Area Brewers Guild organizes the regional beer week and hosts the opening night Brewers Showcase on Thursday, March 2. To see the full list of events, check out the Sacramento beer week website.

Thursday, March 2
Sacramento Brewers Showcase, 6pm-9pm
California Automobile Museum
The Opening event of Sacramento Beer Week, hosted by the Sacramento Area Brewers Guild, brings together 40 local brewers pouring new releases and fan favorite beers.

Sactown Union Brewery
Panel Discussion with Dr. Charlie Bamforth (UC Davis), Barbara Groom (Lost Coast Brewery), Judy Ashworth (Lyons Brewery Depot), Shaun O’Sullivan (21st Amendment), John Martin (Drakes/Triple Rock) and Michael Barker (SUB).

Track 7 2nd Annual Brewery Invitational Festival, 1pm-5pm
Track 7 Brewery, Natomas
Over 30 hand selected breweries pour at this event, attendees get to vote on their favorite beer and breweries.

Beer Talks: Dr. Charlie Bamforth, 5pm-8pm
New Helvetia Brewing Co.
This annual speaker series called “Beer Talks” features a renowned beer industry personality every year. Dr. Charlie Bamforth, professor at UC Davis will be the guest speaker for this year’s event, which includes food & beer.

Low Brau Firestone tap Takeover & CCBA fundraiser, 4pm- closing
Low Brau
10-12 beers from CA will be on tap with Firestone Walker being featured. $1 dollar of every beer goes to the CCBA
