Jeff Duggan

Jeff Duggan is the owner and roastmaster for Portola Coffee Roasters in Orange County.  With a background in chemistry and computer science, details and processes are rooted in everything he does.  Whether traipsing the globe to find unique and rare coffees from small growers, or designing new brewing devices to improve extraction, he constantly obsesses over results.  Jeff’s second favorite beverage is beer so it only makes sense this obsession has carried over into his commitment to help produce award winning coffee beers.  With a custom approach to roasting for coffee beers, Portola has racked up 10 medals in 6 years with several talented brewers.
