California Craft Brewers Association Announces Ticket Packages for the 2016 California Craft Beer Summit
Second year event includes new educational opportunities and a premier tasting line-up!
Today the California Craft Brewers Association (CCBA) announced ticket options for the 2016 California Craft Beer Summit and Brewfest, including early bird pricing and specialty beer events. Taking place in downtown Sacramento September 8-10, this year’s Craft Beer Summit expands upon CCBA’s vision to create a truly connected craft beer community.
“CCBA continues to close the gap between the brewing industry and craft beer lovers, homebrewers and everyone interested in locally brewed beer,” said Tom McCormick, CCBA’s executive director. “The California Craft Beer Summit is an unmatched opportunity for craft beer lovers to engage in the evolving story of California beer, meet the brewers behind the craft and participate at every level from tasting to learning to celebrating the iconic West Coast beers in demand throughout the world.”
The 2016 Craft Beer Summit will include:
- Educational sessions for brewing, tasting and aging beer
- Food and beer pairings in the Expo Hall and at the event’s first beer dinner
- Interactive displays for beer ingredients, sustainable farming and local malting
- Access to and information on current and future brewing industry members
- Specialty tastings and “Tap Talks” with famed brewers and leaders in the craft beer industry
The three-day event will culminate on Capitol Mall with the largest craft beer festival in the state featuring more than 150 small, large and specialty breweries from across California.
“The Craft Beer Summit is at the center of a growing and thriving demand for craft beer,” said McCormick. “There is truly something here for everyone, from tasting world-renowned beers to learning taste profiles from cicerones to connecting with industry members or collecting the tools to grow your brewery. We are proud to host an event that celebrates the rich and diverse collection of artisans and entrepreneurs that make up California’s craft brewing industry.”
The CCBA will announce speakers, educational tracks and event details in March.
Tickets will go on sale on Monday, April 4. CCBA is offering a range of ticket options that include tickets to individual events such as the Brewfest ($45), single day Summit entry or full weekend packages ($219).
