The CCBA introduced its first sponsored bill, which intended to define “small beer manufacturer.” Although the bill was not signed into law, this effort marked the beginning of CCBA’s advocacy program, laying the foundation for future legislative efforts.

The California Craft Brewers Association (CCBA) is a 501(c)6 nonprofit trade association representing the craft and specialty brewing industry in California. The primary function of the CCBA is to monitor legislative activity at the state Capitol and provide a single and coherent political voice that represents and protects the interests of all California craft breweries.
